Lineboring – the in-situ machining of main bearing saddles, camshaft pockets etc. – was invented in the
1950s by Carl Baguhn Hamburg.
Since that time, we have collected a wealth of specific data on every engine we have ever handled – to
ensure the fastest possible service on site.
With lineboring, we go beyond the normal limits. We can machine any bearing pocket from a bore of
120 mm in diameter – anywhere in the world. This gives you the shortest possible processing times
with the very highest precision.
